My TOB has taken a dump on me so i was looking into replacing maybe the clutch and pressure plate being that the ones in the car are stock and it has 240000 miles on them but money is real tight, so i was wondering if any1 has used any one these clutches for a DD http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/XTD-STAGE-2-RACING-CLUTCH-86-95-MUSTANG-GT-5-0L_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQcategoryZ33730QQihZ009QQitemZ190175217815QQrdZ1QQsspagenameZWDVW

And right now im 17 without a job in the search for one i need something that will get me moving again, the car has an intake, fuel pressure regulator and ford racing wires, its a 94 5.0. I need the clutch kit any input is apreciated i need a clutch kit in the range of 150 if any one knows any better one than those i apreciate all the help.

Save a little bit more money and you can get a King Cobra clutch kit. You only need like $40 or $50 more and you can get one shipped. I know the others are cheaper but why go with somthing that will crap out, and then you have to buy a new clutch and another install. The king cobra will be worth it, it will last forever, and take any mods up to around 350hp maybe more.

Your going want to find someone using one of those clutches before getting one to see if their any good.

The FMS king cobra I had was pretty stiff the AFM super king cobra felt way better

holy crap, sounds exactly like me.

94 mustang gt with a 5 speed. 200,000+ miles

TOB isn't quite to that stage yet, but its been whining.

17 year old kid.

I'm saving up for a king cobra clutch, I hear they are alot better.

I don't want to rip apart all that, and then in a couple months have to do it again.

I would avoid those eBay specials if it were me. The King Cobra will handle everything those clutches will, but you can be assured it's a quality part. It is about $60 more than you're looking to spend, however. The pedal effort, in my opinion is pretty soft even compared to stock. I believe the FRPP heavy duty clutch is the one that has the hard pedal.

The Ford Racing Heavy Duty is the the "one" with the heavy pedal.

The King Cobra is lighter for a literally, a few more $. Well worth it in my opinion.

The Centerforce is the softest out of these, but add another $120.

To me, it was worth it, but the latter two will be just fine for you.
