Clutch Pedal Play

there seems to be some play in my clutch pedal...i also have another problem, when i take the car in the high rpms (6400) and when i shift it seems to hesitate going in the next gear, but it only does it in the higher rpm's, i just got my spec stage 2 clutch in and alum, flywheel in. anyone have this problem before? thanks

Do you have an aftermarket quadrant and firewall adjuster?

If it's hard to put it in gear, it may be the synchros in your transmission going out. But I wouldn't worry about it. Don't mess with it until it breaks.

i dont think its the syncros it jsut started doin this when i got my clutch in last week.

hes in a 99 cobra... not a 2v car.

your adjuster isnt adjusted correctly... plain and simple

yeah its adjsuted to grab at half way...

Your clutch is not dis-engageing properly. The clutch cable should have no more that slack at the firewall that the thickness of a penny. This can be checked by pulling the cable away from the firewall.
