Trim the brake pedal down?
Maybe shim it at the pivot point?

Pics?

Perhaps one is bent, or loose? Might want to look into WHY the pedals are close together.

I nearly got in to an accident driving my 5 speed Fox with my size 12 steel toed boots, won't do that again. My preferred driving shoe that fits these narrow pedals are some Chuck Taylors.

I have 10 1/2 she size, I have a set of 'driving' shoes but mostly wear cowboy style boots, no troubles, but I've been pounding these peddles since 03,

They are extremely close together, especially if you have big feet or drive another Manuel trans car with the pedals further apart.

I have never tried it, but I bet you could cut the clutch arm in half and reweld it offset. I would want to make sure the floorboard and carpet would allow the new position to fully travel.
