I have a 94 Mustang GT. Ive had clutch problems for a little while.
First started 2 years ago, Clutch got REAL hard to mash, I mean realllly hard. It was a aftermarket Zoom. Just a stock replacement basicly. Well I thought it might of been teh throw out barring retainer, so I got a steel one and replaced it, well teh old alum. piece was messed up but didnt really help out my problem. So after talkin to couple of people, they sugguested me The King Cobra clutch. So I bought it and a new clutch cable, just to be on the safe side. It already had a aftermarket adjustable, I just wanted to be safe.
Well the peddle was really easy at first, really really easy. Compared to my old one. Well couple weeks down teh road, it got harder and harder to mass. Cable isnt binding or anything, Ive done checked, it just seems teh clutch is just harder.
Its basicly like teh old clutch before it had its problems.
Im basicly wondering, why does it get harder to mass? Did I do something wrong?
Ive been driving on teh clutch for about a year, and prolly but all of the year, its been pretty hard to mash. I mean dont get me wrong, I can deal with it, just Id like to have it like it was before it got hard.
Also, What clutch should I go with next. Ive been eyeing the Spec stage 2, Almost went wit it teh first time.
