last year i pulled my engine out of my mustang to do some work on it. while it was out the flywheel rusted. it is a RAM flywheel and so is the clutch. they both have about 3,00 miles on them. because of the rust, i had it resurfaced. now, the clutch is slipping if i dump it above 2,000 rpms and will not engage properly until the rpms drop. any thoughts? also, there were no dowel pins when i pulled it out nor did i put any back in. didnt even think about it until i started trying to diagnose my issue. do all flywheels have dowel pins?
