So I have a 01 mustang gt 5spd i wanted to know How can I solve this problem that happen to my clutch today so I was starting my car today I didn’t get all the way in the car to start it so I used my right foot to clutch in to crank the car up today was raining so my shoes was wet so once I came to clutch out after cranking the car my foot slipped off the pedal which made the pedal slam back in place it was kinda loud so I got In the car to leave where I was at and when I put my foot on the clutch it felt kinda mushy like springyish n light i not to long got a new clutch so it was really stiff at first and when I’m driving it the clutch pedal shakes or say its a vibration in the pedal but it shifts fine and all but it just got light and engages really different now can anybody tell what my problem could be pleas ?

The clutch quadrant & pedal connection are all visible from inside the car, so I'd suggest getting your head down into the footwell to see if anything is misaligned, bent or becoming disconnected. Depress & release the clutch pedal a few times so you can see how the cable moves & if everything operates normally. My guess is something is loose or misaligned.

Punctuation please!

Sounds like you either stretched the cable or the clutch quadrant is **** up.
I thought it was the clutch cable or that. That’s what I think it is, but When I took it back to Coleman Taylor’s they said something with the flywheel disc rubbing but they put in my new clutch n was tryna charge me 1100 again just drop the trans n look at it
