clutch quadrant

ok iv been expecting my clutch quadrant to go out for about 2 months well the other day it finally happened and due to money situations im waiting a week or 2 till i can get another. im wanting one of the adjustable ones witha metal quadrant instead of the cheap plastic one so what brand should i look at

Steeda or UPR makes fine stuff.

i 've been using a complete bbk system since christmas and so far so good but i've heard opions vary but that's like everything else.can't please all the people all the time.

ive got the upr triple hook quadrant and firewall adjuster and both are great pieces. no complaints about either

I have the Maximum Motorsports kit except I have the Ford adjustable cable. Anything is better than the stock plastic crap. When I took mine out, the teeth where stripped at the end of the adjustment. I could hardly shift.

a quadrant is something that i dont think you can go too far wrong with. i have not heard horror stories about it. it is a piece of metal.

i would shop around since it does not hugely matter.

Would a bad cable/quadrant make my tranny grind a little when i go to shift?

bad clutch adjustment from a bad oem quadrant or stetched cable could. how much free play do you have? where is the point of engagement?

I bought the summitracing adjustable clutch cable/quadrant and bought and a firewall adjuster. Have had it in for less than a month and I am happy! Clutch pedal feels great!
