Clutch Quadrant

When I replaced my clutch I installed a FRPP cable adjuster which came with the new cable and the metal quadrant. The one thing I don't seem to understand is when you install it. The return spring which brings the pedal all the way back up to the top has nothing to attach to on the metal quadrant while on the plastic one it sat on the side of it.

How do I go about getting the metal quadrant installed and having the pedal all the way back up like it's stock again?

I have the steeda Quadrant and up top its REALLY loose...No spring back action at all...its just something to get used to.

agreed... and though there is no springs i actually prefer the feel....

i thought about getting one of these, how do you guys feel about them? about what do they cost? and who makes a decnet "kit" ?

i prob wont go run out and pick one up today, but since i see you guys talking about it, i thought i would ask....

the Steeda Double Hook Quadrant and Steeda Firewall Cable adjuster is a good setup. You can use those with your Stock Clutch cable.

The Steeda Quadrant is better than the stock quadrant cause it CAN take the abuse from fast shifting...as the Stock PLASTIC quadrant could actually bend over time and break...

The Steeda Firewall Cable adjust gives you the abilty to adjust where u want the clutch pedal to Engage/disengage the clutch....right now I have mine set so that it grabs more up top. So I dont have to push the clutch pedal down alot for it the engage/disengage the clutch.

The clutch pedal feel is similar to stock feeling, the only difference I notice is that there is no spring back action on the pedal. But you can get used to that.

actually your right..lol without the return spring its not really like stock. But when I puch down the clutch it feels like the stock clutch...just no spring back action UP TOP..
