Ok guys/gals, I think the clutch is starting to go. I hear a high pitched noise when I'm at low rpms and sometimes idle. Is that the throw out bearing? And when the noise became apparant to me I would push in the clutch while driving and the rpms wont drop past 1200 rpms. Now sometimes when at a complete stop the rpms wont drop past 1000. It also sometimes shifts hard when normal driving. It's not slipping yet but do those problems sound normal for a clutch starting to go bad. Any help would be appreciated.

You have a bad TO bearing. If you have a few miles then go ahead and swap the clutch too.

The hanging RPM's wouldn't be affected by the clutch. Look into what sicK96 said about the TPS or IAC.

This might help in the short run.

Reset your clutch. Pull the clutch pedal towards you then push the top of the clutch quadrant back towards the firewall then release. You should hear the quadrant "click" back into place.
