I forgot to ask this but now that i took of the tranny im remembered. When i use to fully engage on the clutch pedal(hitting the floor) The clutch still seemed to be grabbing. Just barely though. Why was it doing this? Could of have been the tranny since it was all ****ed up?

It probably needed to be adjusted. Chances are it was still partially engaged (very slightly) whe you had the pedal on the floor. I dunno if you are running the factory quadrant and/or a firewall adjuster and/or an adjustable cable. With the factory stuff check the owners manual for adjustment, I believe you just lift the pedal up for the stock quadrant. If you ahave a firewall adjuster or adjustable cable..make the cable tighter. That should do it fpr ya.

If you had issues with almost every gear or every gear, that would suggest clutch. Your clutch was not disengaging all the way (disengaging = pedal to the floor).

If you only have issues in a couple gears (like 3 and 4) that can be a trans issue. Getting the slack out of the adjustment would be a quick way to tell.

Is the T56 going in already? :D

Good luck bud.

yes i would go with it being the cable i had that prob before with the stock cable.i beleive you are correct go-stang5.0 lifting up on the clutch pedal adjusts the stock cable.replace the cable and go from there cheepest place to start.if ya wanna up grade co adj. and if it streches a lil you can always adj. it a bit.
