looks exactly like the parts that advance auto sells. never heard anything bad about them, but never knew anyone who ran one in a mustang either.

When i was at Rams website i read that the HD will chatter upon take off. Have you noticed or witnessed and chatter at at all?
The first 100 miles or so. Not so much anymore. A buddy has a Spec and it was worse than mine was. His has gotten better too, though.

after doing some research im most likely gonna go with a powergripHD setup...

Havent heard too many good things about spec's tech support...

I've got a RAM and the pedal effort is kinda hard. On a scale of 1 to 10, it's probably a 7. The ball of my foot actually hurts sometimes when I do a lot of city driving, but the cluch grips like a mofo! You know what they say though, no pain, no gain.

That could be in you cable. My pedal was effortless with the old 168,000 mile stock one. It broke soon after the motor rebuild. So, I bought a cheap parts store one to get by on and the pedal was stiff as a mofo. After a week it got really, really stiff. Then a few days later...notchy. So then I got a Ford one and now the pedal is effortless again.

The first one I bought, got burnt a little from some goof ball not routing it correctly through the K-member, and the header got it. Well, I drove the car awhile with it on, and bought another "cheapo", and that helped alot. I'd say pedal effort is medium. I plan to leave it alone until this clutch goes out. But what do you suggest, go and buy a cable from a Ford dealership instead of the Advanced cables? Sorry for hi-jacking.
