I am new to this but i have a 2003 gt manual, i was driving yesterday and heard a pop underneath the car, at first i thought it was the clutch cable because my clutch went completely limp, after pulling over i was barley able to get it in gear while driving my clutch was now very stiff yet when i tried to change gears it wouldnt let me, also i heard a dragging under the car pulled over again and saw nothing, a couple days before this i started to hear the throwout bearing start chirping. could it be throwout bearing, clutch fork, cable? any ideas? the car is completely immobile at this point

...I can take it. I think.

Throwout bearing could have disentegrated and broke the clutch cable. Either way looks like you need to pull the transmission.

So the cable and quadrant are good? You could try peeking in there but as noted above a teardown will probably be needed.

Make sure you use the OEM Ford Cable. An aluminum quadrant and firewall adjuster along with the OEM Cable is really nice to have.
