Just finished the 331 build up and car started right up. I cant put the car in gear when its running and it just jumps forward when i start it in gear. I installed a spec stage 3 clutch with a new pilot and throwout bearing. I have a new lakewood bellhousing, however I am using the stock pivot ball and clutch fork. I already purchased and installed the UPR quadrant and firewall adjuster thinking that was the problem but still didnt work. Probably going to have to drop the trans again, anyone have any idea whats wrong?

thanks, stick

I can adjust the pedal all the way to the floor and about 3 in. above the brake pedal so i dont think its the cable. Plus the stock cable is the strongest from what Ive heard.

i'm not too familiar with the stage 3 clutches, but it almost sounds like your not getting enough clutch travel.

with all the new parts you put in, were there any instructions concerning which parts you could keep? did they say anything about having to change the fork, or ball?

Yeah, I dont have part compatibility knowledge, but you would want to dial every last bit of slack out of the cable for right now (No freeplay).

Good luck.
