Clutch?

Hey all,
lately my clutch has been feeling kind of crappy some days. The engagement and the grab are both fine, but it's the actual feel of the pedal. It only seems to happen when it's cold outside, or the car has been running for a while. Almost like the clutch cable needs lubrication. Is there a way to do that? Do I need a new clutch cable? Help me out guys.

I just put a FRPP clutch quadrant/cable in, and trust me when I say it feels much better now...alot better.

I had the same feeling where while pushing the clutch in you can feel some kind of resistance. Only sometimes and I think it was cold.

I had a new KC clutch put in and it felt great with the old stock cable/quadrant still on. So, I'm not sure if it was the cable or just something else like the pressure plate. I ended up installing a MM cable/quad/adj so I'll never really know for sure. I can just tell you that it felt alot better with the new clutch and the old cable still on. I still have the old cable laying around and it seems to work fine.

I'll look into those... I can't understand why it's happening. It doesn't effect the operation of the clutch, but it just pisses me off that it feels like ****. I think sticky would be the best way to describe it. All stock parts as far as I know. Is there anything I can do, maitenance-wise to make it better? Is this a common problem?
