Please whip out a sig. Recommendations will vary wildly depending upon what combo you're running. Is the car a driver? Is pedal effort a paramount consideration?

Tire recommendation kinda falls into the same lump.

Good luck.

Without knowing what power you are putting down, it will be tough to suggest a clutch.

If this helps, I probably have 250ish to the wheels in my 88 DD, and when I go to the track I beat the snot out of the car. Slicks, dump the clutch at 5500rpms to launch, and my King Cobra has been strong. I would suggest it highly.

I would recommend the C102 10.5" SuperHD Clutch Kit from D&D performance. http://ddperformance.com/ford clutches.htm Pedal effort is just like stock and it holds alot of power. I've ran two of them, t5 and t56, and both were flawless and not to mention super easy on the foot. There is no comparison in pedal effort and holding capicity compared to the stiff King Cobra and it's not grabby at all.

yea my car is stock, feture upgrades will be bbk intake, 70mm throttle body 3:73, so main focus is something the pedle isnt too stiff but grabs and i live in ca so mostly dry out here so i need tires to grab and hook my tires (k106 handkooks) suck monkey balls all they do is spin and spin and spin, 2gear spin spin some more.

that's the worst possible choice for a street car, and especially one with a t5. Those clutches are tranny killers. the weak link in a drivetrain HAS to be the clutch, and the spec clutches are NOT the weak link. Because of that, people with specs wind up blowing their hardware, trannies, ujoints, rear ends, whatever is weakest first.

a certain amount of slip is required. so..... for the poster of this thread, with the future mods considered, I'd just stick with the good old king cobra. can't beat the price, and there is absolutely no reason to upgrade to a better clutch than that. That clutch will hold up to 300 horse, and you won't be close to that figure

I like the SPEC stage 2 on my friends 93 cobra, but v8only makes a good point. I'd rather buy a new clutch than a new transmission.

don't get me wrong, I loved the spec too, it sure is a badass feeling gear ripping clutch, and it makes shifting fun. Believe me though, unfortunately there is something to pay for such a stiff clutch though
