So I'm in the middle of doing my drunck driver hit hatch to the 89 notch I picked up and while swaping I saw these werid hot spots in my flywheel & pressure plate. It might have 1000 miles on it, but it still worked great. It is a stage 2 spec but doesn't have to much shake to it at all unless I really feather it. I say put it back in myself but would throw it out for you to look at...

if i remember from high school, those hot spots are now hardened steel... my old auto shop teacher would say you need a new pressure plate and flywheel, but i say take them to a machinist and get em flattened(surfaced) or checked at least..you might get some slippage issues if you run it like that, though it looks like it's been slipping for a long time already

The thing is brand new really,.... and it grabs GOOD! O well, I don't have time right now. It's going back in, I'm hoping to have most of this swap done in the next couple days.

Maybe hard launches? If the clutch was slipping, I'd guess that the wear would be more distributed. But since it is blotches, my guess is you've been driving her like you stole her
