What clutch kit did you install?

A couple of things to check:
Pull up on the clutch pedal. It will remove any slack from the clutch cable.
If that doesn't help check to see if the cable is binding anywhere.

Bigger how? Diameter of the clutch disc? Thickness?

I would verify that they gave you the correct kit.

How did the condition of the flywheel, clutch fork, pivot stud and throw out bearing look?

Did you use any grease?
