I can tell you that with the deletes and the brenspeed tune. The car gained power across the whole board. I have not dynoed in a while, but it felt like it had more power everywhere and better throttle response. Also I say no difference in fuel mileage.
So, no part-throttle losses?
If it is all the same, I'm going to keep mine and wait for the FAST intake manifold that should have the CMCV deletes built-in.[/QUOT
You go ahead and spend 800.00 for an intake to gain a suppossed 40HP!Yes,are intakes are just fine for street/track use! They have been used in upwards of 800-900HP!!!Do the delete plates and spend the rest of the $$$$ on something really worth while.Like suspension or an aluminum drive shaft!JMO though
Just ran the codes...last two ( there were several, such as injector circuit open, 1-8 ) were:
Throttle control actuator - forced engine shutdown
Throttle control actuator - loss of power
I cleared the codes and I'll see what it does. If I have to I guess I'll reflash the ECU....
Typically you need a custom tune when you install the delete plates just like with L/T headers. Most people I know have the delete plates & L/Ts done at one time so as to avoid visiting the tuner twice!
