I was just wondering if any one has had any problems with suspension products from Cobra Automotive? I would like to order there full front suspension minus parts I have already, Roller perches, sway bars. and springs. I so far have heard nothing bad about them just want to be sure before i invest my money into it.

Also anyone know how there Under Ride Traction rods w/ the 900lb springs mounted on them perform?

I have their full front suspension, oh and the rear as well. They are pricey, but good IMHO. The boxed LCA's are in fact Global West parts, the price is the same as GW I think. As far as I know they box the UCA's themselves, and they are nicely done . Their front end, along with koni's transformed my car, I am now very happy with the handling. I have their Shelby underide traction bars with rod ends - not the 900lb spring version. Again, pricey but nicely done. Overall I think that is the Cobra Automotive theme - expensive but nice kit..good service too.

Hard to argue with this:

"We currently hold the record for
fastest lap ever turned in a Mustang
at the following major U.S. tracks.....
~Lime Rock ~Homestead (Florida)
~Elkhart Lake (Road America)
~Summit Point ~Road Atlanta
~Daytona ~Sebring"

:hail2:

Their stuff is pricey and biased towards period-correctness, but that's not a bad thing if you got the $. I have their Boss 302 Crossmember and the 1 1/4" hollow front sway bar is on the way as we speak.

I'm thinking I'll probably do my rear from Griggs, though . . .

They do all the fabrication, restoration, and prep for the Vintage racing Stangs & Shelbys, 1965-1970, so that's thier forte. Good stuff, it works, according to a club member with two cars prepped by C.A.

Their cars have passed my ass several times..............of course the $25,000 motors had something more to do with it than the suspension parts.

Seriously, they have good products that are pricey. But, very well prepared race cars!
