how do i find out my 96 cobra's build number? i see that some of you have a 4 digit number listed after your make and year in the sigs. what is it exactly and how do i find it for mine? thanks.
i think the number is 800-FORDSVT (someone will post if this wrong)
it is your build number and the total production number for that model year. when you call just give them your VIN number and they will give you the info.
You can also fax them proof of ownership to get your SVT certificate that tellsyou date of production, final assembly plant, and sequence number. (313) 621-2500.
