I don't see a purpose to it, it will add an extra 10mph on the speedo, different redline, and it's already white

i think both the main connections are the same plugs

IF it is like the 99-04 cars, which I think that it is, you will be able to swap it. The PATS is controlled in the instrument cluster as part of the digital odometer unit. You will need to swap over the digital odometer from your existing cluster to the Cobra cluster and it should work.

When I installed my Bullitt cluster into my GT, that was the only thing I had to swap between the clusters to get it all to work correctly.

96-98 doesnt have a digital odometer.
I would like to know also, I like the SVT white gauges better than the after-market ones.

If its plug and play, that would be easy, and a nice swap!

the mechanical readout on the 96-98 cars is just that a readout. it is controled by the cluster module, there is no speedo cable.

So I would have to swap the module off the GT cluster to the Cobra cluster?
Still sounds pretty darn easy...
