I recently blew out my motor on a 2000 GT. The estimate to fix the car came out to a good 4k at the dealer but id rather just swap the motor if i was going to pay that much. I was wondering if any one here has done a cobra motor swap for the gt or heard of any one doing it. Also is there a lot of work to be done to install a cobra motor into a GT??

I spent $5300 getting my mach 1 motor put in - but that included a custom dyno tune.

I'd go with a mach1 motor before a cobra motor(unless it's an 03 corba, of course). The mach motor is alot stronger.
