Wow...rustang, you realize you posted the same questions twice, just worded diff?

anyway...from what I have read, the coolant may be "hot" but it is cooler than the exhaust gases.

and yes, you can just plug up the coolant lines together if you have the cobra intake since there are not coolant hookups.

so the new casting has issues with the distrib? what about clearance of a BBK strut tower brace?

I just installed new cobra intake and had clearance problem with distr but just took a little off intake and module with die grinder and have no trouble setting timing.

Oh yea,I just put a plug in the intake for the back hose and capped front with bolt and clamp,didn't bother with crossover.
