cobra intake

im thinking about buying a used cobra intake (upper & lower) from a friend and i have stock h/i/c setup. would i be losing or gaining HP? it's a little bigger so the heads can breathe easier, but i dont know if they'd be too big on stock heads. should i buy it or no?

You will see an increase over your stock intake. But those stock heads are really choking your 302. Get the intake. You will see the biggest increase from a set of heads. THUMPERS are good if you are on a budget. They are pretty cheap and will give you a nice gain.
