Question for 03-04 cobra owners. When I make the hard left into my driveway
there is this pop sound that is made. Almost sounds like if you ran over a soda
can. Sounds like it comes from down by the tire. Ever run into this. Also did
it when I had to make a hard left just on a normal drive.
check your wheel well plastic liner,maybe its popping in and out and your rubbing,what size tires are you running? If its not rubbing you might wanna take a trip to the dealer.Possible ball joint ,but not likely.Maybe a brake caliper is loose

That would be the "rear-end-popping" that so many Cobra owners have been afflicted with! That is ONE of the ONLY problems I've yet to have! Knock on wood.....
Take it to your service department, I believe there is a TSB on this...there is something on the rear end that has to be tightened, I forget what it is off the top of my head. You can also do a search over on SVTPerformance.com and you'll get a BUNCH of hits for rear end pop. Don't feel bad.... this is just another one of the many minor problems the 03/04 Cobras have.
