I recently purchased a set of Cobra PBR brake calipers, and the hole for the brake line's banjo bolt is 10MM...My stocker banjo bolts won't fit, and my friends 04 cobra has the coarse standard banjo bolt. So what the hell am I looking for at a part store. Ford knows nothing, the dealer knows nothing and the place where I bought these never answers...boy i got it no lube.Any idea how I can fix this or how Ford could allow this to happen.

there are several part numbers for the banjo bolt. When we installed the Baer kit that has cobra calip. on a buds 00gt we broke both the POS bolts (very weak design) and went to a dealer with the cal. and matched up the threads. There was like 3 diff. bolts used from 99-03, and the one that worked for us did not have the same end on it (the opposite end from the head of the bolt) in that it had a sec. that was long and unthreaded. We took a grinder and ground down the end to fit right. It worked fine after that.

There are two fluid bolt thread pitches, one is coarse, the other is fine. Call up Maximum Motorsports, they have both kinds in stock and can hook you up with the ones you need.
