i own a dremel and the more i think about it i'm thinking of carving out the letters i want on wood and trying my hand at stamping it on aluminum cut to size.alittle time consuming but nice little project.

Cobra plaque - the white film that forms on a snake's fangs from eating fatty mice.

Hmmmm ... get a spare plaque, grind/sand it flat, and paint on or engrave your own logo, perhaps? Or get a piece of billet aluminum, cut to size/shape, drill your mount holes, and do the same with that?

They're back! This is a Ford Licenced, High Quality reproduction of the original plaque used on the 1993 Cobra upper intake. Aluminum plate with adhesive.

Adhesive? That sucks, the 5.0 H.O.'s are screwed in.

Eh ... I dunno how. The only difference between the HO, non-HO, and '86 intakes was the internals; externally, they look almost exactly identical. Now you've got me curious. I'll have to take the plaque off my '86 and lay it over the one on her notch or Capri notch just to see if it's the same size.

I've got a sand-blasted HO plate kicking around. I figured every Mustang owner had 2 or 3 of these

I guess I could always try pulling one from the yard, or we can discuss it further in pm's if you have one that isn't tore up.

It's aftermarket
