ok so i have found some wheels that i think would look nice. Here is what the description says. Would they fit my car? what does the back spacing mean? I have a 99 cobra with the IRS. Would i have any problems or need anything else? what would you pay for these? Here is what the add says.......

These are the Real Ford Racing Cobra R 17x9 Wheels with 5.95" backspacing.

They have just come off a 1998 Cobra Convertible. Two of the rims are perfect, the other two have some chips and curb rash, which can be noticed when close up. One of ther Cobra R caps is cracked and on one the red paint is faded, the other two are perfect.

The rears have BF Goodrich G-Force T/A 285/40/17 tires, which are in fairly good condition, still have plenty of life (depending on how you drive) These tires are excellent in the dry, but no so good in the wet.

The fronts have Michelen XGT-Z4 255/45, which are in excellent condition.

you must be made of money. I am a college kid. i am gonna give these a shot. What is the best deal on some 18's with tires? probley around 1200?? why would you spend double your money to get new ones? not asking in a smart way just wondering your reasons. keep in mind i am broke lol.

the 98's came in 17X9 I believe. The 00's are 18X9.5.

They're cheaper than you think though. I got my 00R's from gefracing.com for $1500 and that included the tires and mounting and balancing and shipping.

these are mine. they're 18X9.5 with 275 kumho's on them. As I mentioned earlier, they were about $160 each and $170 per tire.
