Hi: I wanted to know what was the suspension on the Cobra R. I want to get side exhausts and lower my car. I have a V6 so I wanted to know how much should i lower it or whats the suspension setup on the Cobra R.

Are the Cobra R tips 2", 2.5" or 3"?

Thanks.

93R or 95R or 00R?

The 93 & 95 had the same exhaust as the Cobra, the 00 had a unique side exhaust.

Well you would have to rip that live axle out from under there, replace a bunch of stuff to support the brakes that fit on the cobra IRS. Maybe a custom drive line????(really don't know what pumpkin is under a V6) Other than that just some slightly stiffer springs an bilstein shocks/struts.

My personal opinion would be to save ~ $1500-2000 for a full coil-over setup so you can adjust it. If that's a little out of reach, just get some camber-caster plates, front and rear tower braces, sub-frame connectors, then select the stiffness of spring and shock/strut you want and live with it.

All I have herd from most people about side exhaust on cobra's is that it will scrape on speed bumps at pretty much anything below stock ride height. The 2000 Cobra R was only 1/2" lower than a normal 99 Cobra. It's probably because of the scraping issues.

OK so the Cobra R was 1/2" lower than the Cobra and how much lower is the cobra from the V6? or the Cobra, GT and V6 are the same?

thanks
