I decided to change the trans fluid on my pony so i raised it up on stands about 16 inches up crawled under drained it/refilled it. i set the car back down and go for a drive... car is just stumbling cant give it any gas or it will die and engine sounds weak.I did not touch a thing other than the drain and fill plug on the trans.im thinking what the hell did i do???? i checked the visible fuel lines to see if i had maybe damaged one when lowering the vehicle as the jack could have hit something..gas tank maybe.i checked all ignition stuff, mass air, none of the injectors seem to be leaking all looks well? If anybody has some suggestions please let me know. thanks

any chance you crimped the fuel lines on the passenger side they are a hard plastic but if you sandwich them between a jack and the floorpan you may crimp them.

My old 95 V6 did that for a while all of a sudden. At about 3200 RPM the engine would just bog down and wouldn't go higher than 3500 RPM. It stopped doing it a few days after it started and never had the problem since.

I have no idea what caused it... was very strange.

Check Engine lamp did not come on at all either.

everything look cool with your throttle and TPS?

other than that the only thing I could think of would be the fuel lines

I tried to drive it over to the local garage the thing DIED on the highway.. had to have it towed. It threw a cel just before dying.I checked fuel lines best i could but under the plastic shroud for the gas tank no clearence to look. It has to be a crimped line under the gas tank... i have checked everything twice and no luck. as soon as the the garage lets me know i will post let other guys know so nobody makes a foolish mistake like me.. i think

you should have checked the lines that run from the tank to the front of the car. I doubt the lines above the tank are damaged.

the fuel lines run along the passenger side floor and if you jack the car wrong you can pinch them.

yeah I agree. I have seen it happen before, it's really hard to explain to the customer that it's not your fault.

That maybe it if you have a fuel pressure gauge when your hammer it see if fuel drops. Mines set at 40psi i think stock is like 35psi.

Well guess what guys..I also have the same problem with my 1999 GT conv. I currently have flow master super 40's K&N CAI Steeda under drive pulleys and a new intake manifold stock..i've changed the plugs 2 months ago and i've recently changed the gas filter oil change and coils. and the same thing happens again. i've cleaned my MAF sensor and my K&N filter but my mechanic can't find anything with his computer scanner any suggestions or ideas... I've changed the fuel pressure and its at 40 psi at idle
