CODE 10 40 please help

Pulling code 10, 40,I know that means 1cyl and 4 cyl has a problem but what I is the cause of it .
Car was running so bad bogging and surging, bucking, bad idle all the good stuff. so I found that the fuel pump was bad putting out 26 on the gage, at its best, got a new one and new fuel reg now putting out 39 . tbs is set at .99 put new cap on accel and nothing got any better. The only change it actually stalls completely now any thing I should be doing or something I missed please help I am not able to stop I am obsessed with getting it running strong and properly .
I am grateful for any help

1. when you did the plug wires did you put them on right?

2. Have you checked your plugs

If you are spitting codes for those cylinders from a CBT, I would check the quality of the spark for those cylinders. I use an inductive timing light and check the strobing for any burps, etc. Pull the plug and check it for gap erosion or other weirdness. A noid light can be used to check for injector pulsing electrical feed.

If you ran the CBT, did you let it test all 3 times?
