My car always seemed like it's been on the lean side at idle. About six weeks ago it developed a surging idle after a cold start after two-three minutes of idling then would die. Then the surging idle would go away after warning up to normal operating temp. I checked the IAC and it had a dead short - replaced it with a new Motorcraft unit, but it still surges. I finally got someone to hold the clutch in to dump codes today and got a code 41. Any suggestions on what to do next?
