code checking

hey guys,

I brought my car into auto zone today to get it code checked, but neither he or I could find the plug-in for the checker. If anybody could tell me where it is, and where the main computer of the car is located, that would be very helpful

the check plug is located behind the shock tower on the driver's side, and the main computer is located behind a plastic pad, inside the car, near your feet on the passenger's side..
