Hey fellas, lately the stang has been running horribly with intermittent hesitation problems and random CEL's. I pulled codes and got quite a confusing list....the weather hasnt been spectacular lately so i havent worked on the car too much but here's what i got.
KOEO:33, 56, 66, 91
KOER: 33, 92
Whats confusing about these codes is that 55 and 66 are both MAF related. 55 trips for low MAF signal voltage and 66 trips for high MAF signal voltage??? Also 91 trips for a lean condition seen at the O2's and 92 trips for a rich condition??? Why am i getting these contradicting codes? My first suspision is a faulty/dirty O2 sensor or poor wiring connections (extensions for longtubes) so when i get the chance i will pull them out and clean/check them.
The EGR code- 33 is comming up in both the KOEO and KOER tests? what steps should i take at this point....im trying to get some good ideas before i just start going to town on the the EGR. I know i need to check for 10" of Vac at EGR and i think im going to remove it and clean the carbon deposits off the pintle...
Any other suggestions would be welcome!! thanks
