I plan to install maximum motorsport coil overs on the front and rear of my 92 GT. but the more and more i think about it im not sure if rear coil overs will be able to stand up to the occastional Hard launch at the track. im planing to install rear coil overs with a torque arm and panhard bar (all maximum motorsports)as far as my rear suspention. would it be smarter to go with ajustable lower control arms or with the rear coil overs. i want a road race suspention, but still be able to go to the track and do a hard launch every now and then. Help

Oh man, those lower adjustables have me drooling. Problem for is that I already have a set of Southside Maching Bars welded in.... So that switch over would be a major pain in the butt! Maybe one day....

I don't think the coilovers would have any problem, but the metal around the shock on the body may not be able to take it as well because it was never designed for the whole weight of the car.

Call MM and ask someone on thier tech line. They are very helpfull, and probally could answer your question the best.

I would go with the adjustable lowers myself. I drive my car daily and there are way too many potholes for me to be comfortable with rear coil overs.
