Coil spring pig tail not sitting in the control arm

I’ve recently tried installing bmr lowering springs on my 1989 foxbody mustang 5.0 hatchback, but the pig tail is not sitting in the perch on the control arm, what do I do from here.

Did you try jacking it back up with the suspension hanging? You may be able to get a good enough grip to spin it to where it needs to be.

Hi there I did that and it did go in no problem but once I let loose the jack the strut fully decompressed and it just come off again

You sure that spring perch area was clean and free of debris? It’s just one side that’s giving you the problem?

Hi there I did make to get rid of all debris and I didn’t do the other side because I’m nervous if I’ll have the same problem.

Maybe there is something going on at the top of the spring? Are you using the isolators at the top also?

Just wondering……. Are you using the Maximum Motorsports install tool to get the springs in? If not….. how are you doing it?

Damn. I recently did Eibach lowering springs, with all new isolators, and springs went right in with that tool.
Is there a motor in the car?

When you spin it to get it in place, is the isolator moving, or staying put? Maybe the spring is moving, but the isolator is not, still preventing it from falling into the perch?
Maybe you need to thread the isolator on a little further?
