When the spring is on there and connected to the strut I cant spin it but before I connect the strut I have no problems and I am able to spin it in place
The problem is I don’t know why it’s not going on the perch because when I jack it up on the control arm it goes in there fine but when I loosen it and the strut fully decompresses it come off of the perch.
I've never had an issue of not being able to keep the end of the spring in the pocket. Make sure you have the right springs in the correct location. If they are the right springs it isn't detrimental to have the pig tail all the way at that perch. Once you drive the spring will usually settle. Make sure that the tip is just as far from the devot in the perch on each side. Once the springs settle a little you can re adjust them.
