Coil Springs Info

I was wondering how to tell the rate of the springs on my car.

they are new springs but were on the car when i got it.. i want to lower the front end two inches. the springs are painted blue and have the following info stenciled on them

" Promotors.com PM67 70BB "


Any one have any idea?

You're going to need a digital dial caliper to measure the thickness of the spring, my 560 1" drop springs measures ~.560 in. and 620 springs should measure .620, etc. Harbour Freight sells some cheap digital calipers, you'll need to test it's accuracy with a known part.
Just for reference my stock springs were 16" tall off the car and the 1" drop I put on were 12" off the car.
