Cold air intake help???

i got a MAC intake fenderwell kit... do these kits on the 5.0L help better then the engine bay filter kits???? i know on my buddies 4.6L the filter inside the engine bay done better then the fenderwell.... but what about on ours???

Everyone's going to tell you to do a search, this topic comes up about once a week.

Any time you can pull in colder air, your car is going to make more power. A cold air kit that draws in air from the fender (including the stock air box setup) will be better than an exposed underhood filter.

Basically you blew $100 bucks...

Coulda just bought a drop-in K&N and been done with it... CAIs don't do much of anything tha stock intake tube doesn't, besides screw up some aftermarket MAFs...as tha stories go
