cold air intake worth it?

just wondering if gettin a cold air intake for my dd car is worth it or not? The ones i see are liek $200.

remove the silencer, add a kn, and be done.

Unless you want the bling. They are not worth any real power.

like he said or unless you are forced induction and need rigid plumbing to sustain massive amounts of air, k&n, pull the silencer and call it good

just unbolt the stock air box, and it will pop off. Takes less than 1 minute to do.

Just don't do anything that will cause u to get air from the engine bay. worse thing u can do for the intake side.

You'll gain with a smooth pipe to the throttle body vs the flutted rubber one. Smoother air is better.

thats great, still doesn't add enough power to be worth spending money on it.

As onther said you won't gain much at all over takeing out the airsilener and putting in a K&N.
