cold air intake

There is a thread on CAI every other day, why not read one of them?

As for which model of K&N AutoZone has a "what fits my car" feature on their website that will tell you the part numbers for lots of things including K&N.

i know it was meant as an insult but this comment made me laugh for some reason:rlaugh:

i have the k&n fipk and it's probably the best quality kit on the market, but if i had to do it over again i would've spent my money elsewhere. not worth it

had you searched you would've seen that in pretty much every thread

if you've been here since june of 2003, then you should know that there are at least 5 CAI threads per week. and you're certainly not going to make any friends here by being a jerk to people who are just stating the facts to you.

That being said, your money will be better spent elsewhere.

no, make a 4.10s vs 3.73s thread please

...then, how bout another oil thread please?

Seriously, these threads are silly. It's one thing to ask a specific question about an aspect or detail about something like, say, cold air intakes. But to just blurt out "what's the best cai" is dumb, when you consider that exact question has been asked about a million times. No stangGT97, I'm not addressing this to you, but rather to the newbs who REALLY need to use the search button.

well, i havent been on this website for a few years now, and i havent been buying parts whatsoever (still college kid without moneys), and my k&n filter is getting old. now i know i could just clean it, but i thought since its not that expensive, id just spend a couple hundred and get a cai just for the heck of it, even though it wont give me much gains......this was my thought process behind my original thread

well in all honesty, if the K&N is still in good shape, just clean it and pop it back in. you could put that couple hundred towards something more useful, like gears or exhaust
