Hi, I have an '01 gt that dies right after start up. The
only way to keep it running is to lay into the throttle
for a while. Once the engine is warm, start up isn't usually
a problem. I've checked all my under hood hoses, etc. I
checked the pcv valve, seems ok. One weird thing that I've
been noticing lately is a "whining, or whisteling" sound
under acceleration.(sounds sort of like an air leak).
No service engine lights and the car seems to run strong.
Any one have any ideas. (Hope not a cracked intake).
