For Ford Motorcraft plugs they will have a number in the spark plug item number. Say "42" and one heat range colder would be "32" and one hotter would be "52".
nah,no power adder but the car is detonating up top so i figured maybe take the plug a step colder but it also may be a fuel issue bc the carb.it may be leaning out up top causing it to heat up and detonate.gunna rebuild the carb first and see what happens.
Autolite plugs (now say DESIGNED IN U.S.A.,MADE IN CHINA.) having a dislike for that country ,I would say Motorcraft plugs ,and just so you no ! The box's just started to display this .
