collectors insurance??

I assume you are talking about agreed upon value coverage. I have it with Geico and it cost an extra $73 a year for it. Before if my Cobra got totaled I would only get book ($6000), with the value coverage an apraiser came out (cost 75 bucks) and I was able to bump it to $10650. Worth the extra $73 with the luck I have with my Stangs.

Our two cars are insured through Hagerty. You have to be 25 to start with, plus they have a lot of restrictions about how many miles you can drive, whether or not you have a garage, etc. Really cheap though.

anything for those who are 18? im not driving in the winter or rainy days..
and i have another car to drive/ garage.

Look into the restrictions. There are a ton with collector car plates and insurance.

They put severe mileage restrictions on and also days. I beleive you can only drive it on sunday or to/from a car show.

Depends on the state. i also beleive their are age limitations as well.

Some states also put year restrictions on the car. An '88 Mustang would not qualify for collector plates in MA yet.

Agreed. having your parent's name on the title helps w/ insurance like a mofo. If thats not an option, see if anyone you know is tight w/ their insurance guy. If you know somebody, sometimes you can get a deal.

yeah.. the few places we asked wouldent let anyone else drive the car under 25... even if i put it under my moms name, i wouldent be covered.

for regular fullcoverage insurance who do you have and for what price?.. im not even covered right now and its driving me crazy!
