Well then we are in a little predicament over the stupidity of this argument. I was joking about the paint comment anyway. Besides it is neither of ours car or decision. To each his own opinions. But the fact that you have the indescentcy of making such comments as

six-banger boy. BTW, with such a badass car as a six-banger coupe (in the ever-so-rare RED!) you must be the envy of every house wife in town. After all, that's the kind of car most women drive, isn't it?

is far beyond me. From a 16 year old, I would think that would be normal.....but from a grown man of 42 years I would say those are pretty childish comments. I hope you feel good about yourself.

well as a trucker once told me "if you take care of your name, your name will take care of you." so for someone to say such a bold statment against another person for such a small PERSONAL opinion is just stupid. i think zookeeper has a good reason to defend himself.

either way, i think that the flat black primer looks baaaad. (the good bad, not the bad bad )

I agree, although for different reasons I think.

If I ever have a monster of a car (i.e. in the 10s or better) it's going to be primer. Different colors of primer too, and the interior will be trashed

Am I the only one who thinks there's just something fundamentally cool about a car that looks totally innoculous but will rip the doors off anything on the road?

Possibly....I think if the paintjob is good enough....maybe it will take their eyes off the enourmous hood packed with a stroked supercharged engine....at least long enought to beat them. I think that is the angle ricers were going for with the wing and the neon and such but they just didn't need a big hood to hide a 300 shot in their trunk to power their 4 cyl. Man you just reminded me of how much I hate a riced out car. Which reminds me....I saw a guys Cobra R the other day....it was bad ass....if I ever own a modern mustang I want it to be that kind...simply bad ass.

I was simply making a point about the paint...I don't have a huge hood with a turbo and stroked engine..........but I can dream.

I vote a pearl silver base with dark candy red stripes. The combo looks beautiful on a Cobra.

One other color possiblty is the Quick Silver Clearcoat Metallic with light silver stripes. A sample of the color combination can be found here on the Ford GT. Ford's website shows the car in the same color with black stripes which also does not look bad...
