Apparently its the second hardest schedule but I dont know about that. Good lord just look at week 7 - week 13. All 7 teams are good and had at least 10 wins last year except Houston, not only that but 5 of the 7 are road games.

Week 1 - Chicago
Week 2 - at Minnesota
Week 3 - Jacksonville
bye
Week 5 - at Houston
Week 6 - Baltimore
Week 7 - at Green Bay
Week 8 - at Tennessee
Week 9 - New England
Week10- at Pittsburgh
Week11- Houston
Week12- at San Diego
Week13- at Cleveland
Week14- Cincinnati
Week15 - Detroit
Week16 - at Jacksonville
Week17 - Tennessee

Now that weak sauce New England Schedule. God I would love to trade them to be in that POS division. Why doesnt the NFL just give them 13 wins. They only have three hard games (Indy, San Diego, and Pittsburgh)

Week 1 - Kansas City
Week 2 - at NY Jets
Week 3 - Miami
bye
Week 5 - at San Francisco
Week 6 - at San Diego
Week 7 - Denver
Week 8 - St. Louis
Week 9 - at Indianapolis
Week10- Buffalo
Week11- NY Jets
Week12- at Miami
Week13- Pittsburgh
Week14- at Seattle
Week15- at Oakland
Week16- Arizona
Week17- at Buffalo

Look at Pittsburgh's schedule.. toughest in football. They play the AFC South and NFC East, along with Pats and Chargers.

Patriots will have a hard schedule in '09.. it's all based on the scheduling rotation.

1 - Houston 1:00 PM
2 - at Cleveland 8:15 PM
3 - at Philadelphia 4:15 PM
4 - Baltimore 8:30 PM
5 - at Jacksonville 8:15 PM
7 - at Cincinnati 1:00 PM
8 - NY Giants 4:15 PM
9 - at Washington 8:30 PM
10 - Indianapolis 4:15 PM
11 - San Diego 4:15 PM
12 - Cincinnati 8:15 PM
13 - at New England 4:15 PM
14 - Dallas 4:15 PM
15 - at Baltimore 1:00 PM
16 - at Tennessee 1:00 PM
17 - Cleveland 1:00 PM

Weeks 10 and 11, then 13 and 14 are ridiculous for them.. back-to-back tough games.

However, in the Patriots defense, you can't say a team will suck one year because they did the previous year.. look at the Browns, wtf happened with them? I couldn't believe they won 10 games! The Jets and Bills are going to be better than most people think, but I still don't believe they'll beat the Pats.. but they'll give them a much tougher fight now.

Of the games you highlighted 3 of 4 are home games. Id rather play that than do what Indy does in week 7-13 with 5 of 7 on the road and the only semi breather being 8-8 Houston at home making it playing 5 of 6 10+ win teams in 7 games on the road.

you know what I mean...the first team to go 0-16...would be great to see.

I know 1 loss guaranteed for the Colts, when the Patriots come back to Indy and beat that ass again.

New England division used to be considered the toughest in football but things change. Its not New Englands fault that Miami, Jets, Buffalo all suck. Every team in the NFL plays the teams in their division twice each each regardless of how good or crappy they are. Its not as if they have to play the crappy teams twice while everyone else only plays the teams in their division once. It still comes down to beating who ever you are playing, teams in the divisions always play them harder b/c they know them so well. Look at Indy and the Texans. Always a tough game even though the Texans are not known as a good team.

Something tells me that even though the Colts have a MUCH more difficult road to travel they will once again have a better record than the lowly Broncos.

Have fun on your continuing trip through mediocrity. If that is too big of a word for you, try dictionary.com

Lowly Broncos? Our record is one of the best in the NFL over the last decade or so and we just had only our 2nd losing season since 1999.

We just had an excellent draft and an extremely solid core to build on. We'll be a dangerous team this year, count on it.

That Colt's schedule looks like cake. They only have three tough games. New England, Pittsburgh, and San Diego. Jacksonville doesn't pose a threat to them, because basically they own the Jags.

why? because they went from a really crappy team in the 90's to a pretty decent team now? is it jealousy? Its not like they are "that team" that wins every fricken game and then brags about it. what the heck dude

I think thats debatable. Defiantly the Steelers have a tough schedule, but Id trade any 7 straight games on your schedule if you took our week 7 - 13.

Week 7 - at Green Bay
Week 8 - at Tennessee
Week 9 - New England
Week10- at Pittsburgh
Week11- Houston
Week12- at San Diego
Week13- at Cleveland

5 of 7 on the road and 6 of 7 had 10+ wins in 07, the other had 8.

Including - AFC #1 Pats, #2 Chargers, #3 Steelers NFC #2 Packers

Then throw in one more with Tennessee, two more with Jacksonville...

Your toughest 7 game stretch is week 8 - 14...

8 - NY Giants 4:15 PM
9 - at Washington 8:30 PM
10 - Indianapolis 4:15 PM
11 - San Diego 4:15 PM
12 - Cincinnati 8:15 PM
13 - at New England 4:15 PM
14 - Dallas 4:15 PM

2 of 7 on the road, 4 of 7 with 10+ wins.

Then really outside of those your other hard games are against teams that Colts have to play twice in Jacksonville and Tennessee.

Plus one thing you need to consider is Indy helps your strenght of schedule more than you help ours. Defiantly both are good teams but Indy was 13-3 in the toughest division in football and Pittsburgh was 10-6 in a pretty average AFC North and lost twice in a row to Jacksonville who Indy beat twice.

I can't wait to see how Jacksonville and Cleveland will be this year, they showed a lot of promise last year and I think they might just be "getting over the hump" to make a playoff run. However, both teams have a ways to go before they can take the Colts, Chargers or Patriots down in the playoffs.

Did Green Bay pick up some veteran QB in the off season? If not, they'll be lucky to finish 8-8. Houston has improved, but their no powerhouse team.

I think Jacksonville is a lock for the 4th best team in the AFC. It just seems that NE and Indy have their number but they are going to be a force rushing the passer this season. First two picks where SEC d ends. I think the Harvey kid from Florida is going to be a beast.

Im not sold on Cleveland, they have some awesome skill players and a top 5 calber reciever in Braylon Edwards but who knows how their QB situation comes out. Anderson was up and down week to week and sorta tailed off a bit towards the end of the year. He needs to have a year just like last year or better for them to take the next step.

Yeah, that's one thing i'm going to be really paying attention to this year.. how Derek Anderson performs compared to last year. I kinda think he was a one-year wonder, but who am I to judge his performance.
