Hey guys/gals,
I need to know what gasket prep and bolt prep is needed to do the PI headswap without a problem?
Where is thread sealer needed during the PI swap? Any headbolts? Intake bolts? Or just the coolant sensors?
I read the headgasket goes on completely dry, but what about the PI intake gasket?
I read the valve cover gasket needs to be 'glued' for a better seal but what do I 'glue' it with? I read the back of the valve covers is where it is really needed?
Crank and cam bolts with red loctite?
Anything else of good use?
This is a '98 block with 02 heads/02 intake/02 cam by the way.
