This is a common cheap brake duct cooling fix for HPDE/SCCA events. Seen it more than once. Now, I prefer flexible plastic down spout myself.

Any one who ever drove a fox body5.0 will tell you, that the brakes on the current stang are 239457239845732489573497% better and back then no one put these things on their car. This is something you'd see Cooter putting on someone's car.

For me, that's fine, as long as it's functional. If those ducts are leading to an aftermarket cold air, and it's backed by a good tuner.... that's fine in my book.

On the other hand, if this is a stock car, and they bought this "cold air kit" off eBay... I'd say they have some learning to do.

In general, I go by the rule of "to each his own", If you're into this, fine. I wouldn't have this on my car unless it made a difference. Unfortunately, I'm sure someone out there is claiming to have "ram air induction" because of this mod. That is the only reason I hate stuff like this. I'm all about backyard solutions and new ideas, just as long as you don't claim it to be something totally different.

I wouldn't mind some white lighting in the footwells. Ford did not give us enough interior lighting. But it would only light up when you open the doors or turn on the dome lights.

FUDGE THAT!

Buy a Shelby, while the Shelby sucks ass for what you pay, it's a far better deal than what you are doing, you just don't get the SC.

Then again, if you are spending that much money, try and find a Roush stage 3. Only one of them on ebay has any bids, my point being, if you wait and shop around, you may score a sweet deal on a Roush, which beats the GT500 with a warranty. Plus, the 07's will be replaced by the 08's late summer, there is no point in buying now.
