comp cam adjustable cam gears?

i am thinking about putiing cams in my 1997 mustang gt an was wondering if i take it to a shop to have them put in should i have the comp cams put in too?

adjustable cam gears are only for degreeing a cam, but the cam gears have a problem with coming loose and going out of degree, if you want to degree your cams go with the trick flow specialties adjustable crank sprockets

Call Nick McKinney at MHS. He has "zero" degree cam gears and these gears eliminate the need to degree the cams. Of course, if you have the tools and patience, you should degree cams. If you are using aggressive cams then ask Nick for his advice (and take it!).
