How much power can I get by swapping in some Comp Cams XE265 cams? They are suppossed to "work with stock computer." Does this mean it will still pass smog here in Cali?

Couldn't you find somebody to pay off for the emmissions crap?

Thats hard here in Cali. I spent a long time trying to find someone who would just glance at the motor then was just interested in what comes out the tail pipe. Alot of places test gas cap, and bust out a book that show what everything needs to be and where factory stock.
